LaGrange Academy seeks students of promise who are achievement-oriented and who have the potential to succeed in a challenging college-preparatory curriculum. Requirements
Entrance is based upon the following: appropriate age, previous academic achievement and school transcripts, character recommendations, parent/student interview, and nationally-normed assessments. Considerable emphasis is placed on the candidate's potential to benefit from and make the best use of the Academy's college preparatory program. Two academic references are required prior to consideration for admission. An approved record of birth must be presented prior to enrollment. Other requirements may vary by grade level.
Kindergarten:
Child must reach five years of age by September 1st of that school year
Child receives Readiness Assessment by the current kindergarten teacher
Parents must present legible copies of:
Birth certificate
Certificate of immunization (Form 3231)
Eye, ear and dental checkup form
Grades 1-5:
Child may have an on-site readiness assessment
Current school must have sent an official transcript from previously attended schools

Grades 6-12:
Child and parents must have an on-site formal transcript assessment
Child should be performing on or above grade level
