Thank you very much for your interest in LaGrange Academy.  Whether you are visiting this site casually, to download an application, or to answer a specific question, we are glad you have taken the time to find out more about our school.  An education at LaGrange Academy is unique:  no other institution in our community offers such a full range of curricular and extra-curricular programs in so small an environment. 

 

The other sections of our website explain our admissions process to you.  However, what sets LaGrange Academy apart from most schools is our emphasis on people over process.  The process itself exists so that each candidate for admission is treated fairly; the people within the process are our real concern.  To that end, We encourage you to contact us at any time.  We want our admissions process to be as straightforward as it can be.

 

LaGrange Academy has been offering a superior education in a caring environment for the past forty years. Since 1970 we have been the premier, independent college preparatory school in western Georgia, and our graduates have excelled not only in college, but in their careers. 

 

Having a distinguished past is not enough to set us apart, however.  You will notice our motto, “Guiding Great Futures,” in every part of our website.  Our motto is more than words.  As our area’s outlook has become more global, so too has our school’s curriculum, instruction and student body.  The future belongs to students who understand rapidly, communicate effectively, and think broadly.  Our curriculum is grounded in the traditions and experience of the past, but is applied directly to the issues of the future.

 

More importantly, each student admitted to LaGrange Academy also guides our school’s future.  Obviously, we could not continue as a school if we did not admit new students.  Yet, as a small school, we also feel the influence of each new student we admit.  Since these new students are so important to the character of our school, we want, first and foremost, students who want to be at LaGrange Academy.  Consider scheduling a visit with us so that you can better decide if LaGrange Academy is the right place for you.
