College Counseling

Our College Counseling Office provides an informative and nurturing environment for transitioning from high school to college. In addition to helping LaGrange Academy seniors identify and research potential colleges, our college counselor and the registrar will also direct academic advising and course selection beginning in the spring of each academic year.

In addition to attending the annual PROBE Fair at LaGrange College, LaGrange Academy Upper School students visit various colleges each year. By participating in these trips throughout high school, students have the opportunity to explore approximately 20 colleges before starting the application process. During campus visits, students attend information sessions, take walking tours, and, whenever possible, dine on campus to experience college life more informally. These visits expose students to a range of college environments, helping them gain valuable insights. Even if a student isn’t currently considering one of these schools, the trips provide a broader perspective, ensuring they are better prepared to choose the right college and understand campus life when it's time to apply.
