In the Lower School at LaGrange Academy, our number one priority is to make our students feel welcome in every classroom and on every playing field so that they will take risks, ask questions, and have their desire to learn nurtured at a young age. 

We believe in the power of play and creativity, which is incorporated into our early learning curriculum.  Likewise, we believe that daily challenges and elements of structure develop self-discipline, resilience, and self-knowledge as learners, traits that are important to our students as they advance to the upper elementary grades.  Just as important is our focus on a child’s moral development, as we seek to nurture empathy and compassion in our children.
